You can set up Jolt so that on your own phone or computer you sign in with your fingerprint or face instead of typing your password every time. It takes about a minute.

You only need to do this once per device. Do it on the phone or laptop you normally use — not on a shared tablet.

Set it up

1. Go to dancers.joltdance.co.nz and log in with your email and password as usual.
2. Tap the person icon (top right of the screen, next to “Log out”).
3. Scroll down to “Biometric sign-in”.
4. In Device name, type something to remember this device by — e.g. “My iPhone”.
5. Tap “Set up on this device”.
6. Your device will ask for your Face ID / Touch ID / fingerprint (or your PIN) — confirm it.
7. You’ll see “Device registered” and the page will reload. Done.

Signing in from now on

• Next time you open Jolt on that device, the login page shows an “Unlock with Face ID / fingerprint” button. Tap it, confirm with your face or fingerprint, and you’re in — no password needed.
• Your password still works too, any time you want it.

Good to know

• If you get a new phone, just repeat the setup on the new device.
• You can set it up on more than one device (e.g. your phone and your laptop).
• To remove a device you no longer use: person icon → Biometric sign-in → Remove next to that device.
• If the “Set up on this device” button doesn’t appear, your browser doesn’t support it — try Safari (iPhone/Mac) or Chrome (Android/Windows).
